Food Relief
Reliable access to nutritious food is a foundation for health, stability and dignity. SEPAND’s Food Relief program is designed to strengthen community food support across Canada by helping local partners move practical assistance to people facing food insecurity.
How support can be used
Donations can support groceries, food hampers, culturally appropriate staples, household essentials, community meal initiatives and the logistics required to prepare and distribute assistance safely.
Community-led delivery
Needs differ from one neighbourhood and region to another. SEPAND’s approach is to work with established community organizations and local leaders so assistance responds to priorities identified close to the people receiving support.
Accountability
As programs are activated, verified outcomes, partner information and reporting can be published through SEPAND’s Impact section so donors can understand how resources are being used.
